Previously married? One extra document.
Everything else stays the same — this is the only paperwork that's genuinely yours to bring.
What you need
- Your divorce decree — or your former spouse's death certificate
- An apostille from the issuing country on that document
- A certified translation into Georgian — we can recommend translators
Why the apostille here and nowhere else? Your passports never need one — Georgia only asks for a notarized Georgian translation, which we arrange. But a foreign divorce or death document has to arrive already legalized by the country that issued it.
Do this first
This is the one item on the timeline we can't run for you — so start it before you book flights.
Apostille turnaround varies by country. Once it's in hand, everything else is standard: we book the Public Service Hall, prepare translations, and your day stays a single day.
